It’s the festive season, a time of year known for giving and at Cyber Security Partners we do exactly that. As part of the company ethos and social corporate responsibility, CSP are proud and committed to giving back to the local community every year instead of sending gifts and cards to clients etc.
Every year the team at CSP all pick a local charity that’s close to their heart or are passionate about their charity’s work in the local community. We then chose one charity at random to make a donation.
Robert Briggs, Director at CSP, said:
“We really enjoy involving the team in our Christmas donations. It’s our aim to help others at Christmas every year, a time which can be difficult and hopefully our donation will help the chosen cause.”
This year, the charity selected by a word generator, was the ‘Behind Closed Doors’ charity in Leeds that helps domestic violence and abuse victims. It was nominated by our Marketing Manager, Natteleigh.
The charity’s mission is:
“To support women, men and children in Leeds, whose lives are affected by domestic abuse.
To offer community-based outreach services, providing practical and emotional support, advocacy and information.
To empower individuals to make informed choices about their lives, that will have a positive immediate and future impact.”
Natteleigh Sydney-Smith, Marketing Manager at CSP, exclaimed:
“I’m thrilled that my charity got chosen and our donation can help vulnerable people who may be living in fear and just need someone to talk to. I really admire the work they do and wanted to help, and now I can! ‘Behind Closed Doors’ in Leeds offers so much to the local community, please check them out.”
Louise Tyne, Organisational Director, said:
“On behalf of Behind Closed Doors, I would like to say a huge thank you for your donation. We are a small team who use every penny donated to provide the highest quality support for people experiencing domestic violence and abuse.”
