CSP were invited along to the second annual LegalTech in Leeds Conference 2023 this April, and what a day it was! Numerous expert speakers and keynotes were offering their advice, perspectives and guidance on numerous topics around Legal and Tech, focusing on Innovation. CSP’s Session
Kevin Else, one of our Directors, spoke not once but three times at the event. Kevin had two breakout sessions where he had two 30 minute slots to discuss, ‘The Cyber Security concerns for Small to Medium sized law firms, when digitally transforming your business.’
Digital transformation of your company brings many benefits in streamlining your route to market and enabling consistent and accurate responses to your clients.
But that often means relying on services and expertise outside of your comfort zone and sending data into that big bad word of the ‘internet’. This session will NOT take you through all the bad things that can happen and then magically provide a software solution. What it will do is take you through the steps of establishing your Cyber Security posture when moving to a more digital way of doing business.
Kevin provided guidance and advice on taking a methodical approach, to implementing security around technology used by your business. He also defined the areas of responsibility that you as an organisation, need to take to protect your business and your client’s data.
Then Kevin took stage in the main auditorium to pitch CSP’s other brand, Click and Protect, in a quick 5-minute showcase to the entire conference audience.

“It was great to talk to so many people from within the LegalTech in Leeds community and the feedback we got from our breakout sessions was most encouraging. What was also good was the level of co-operation between organisations both from the legal and the tech side, to help each other and share knowledge and concerns about moving Legal to a more digital landscape.
The academic sector also provided some very interesting insights into the projects and research they are carrying out to improve the uptake in technology within Legal. CSP are proud to be a supporter of this initiative and we are looking forward to working with some of the community.”
